As the leader of the Central Marketing Organization, you are responsible for leading and successfully landing the overall Marketing Transformation in your Area. With strong executive support, you lead and orchestrate a multi-dimensional, cross-functional marketing team of Integrated Marketing, inclusive of Integrated Marcom and Sales Enablement, Social Marketing and Analytics discipline

experts. This team is responsible for implementing integrated marketing program that drive demand generation through Global Demand Centers (GDCs) and Global Engagement Programs (GEPs). Your team works with CEE Area team to deliver marketing communications planning, execution, and optimization through the buyer journey across audiences, working with the Experiential. Social, and Analytic peers.

You lead your Subsidiary to smartly maximize marketing investments by fully exploiting all global content, services, and through-the-line marketing. The ideal candidate will be a voracious learner, quick adopter of leading practices from peers, and a courageous leader skilled in not only managing a team to execute on global strategy but also champion effective marketing integration and marketing operations to drive positive business outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Land the all-up Marketing Transformation in the Area leveraging Marketing Automation via Global Demand Centers (GDCs) and Global Engagement Programs (GEPs) inclusive of usage, process and policy. (40% of time)

  • Lead the all-up Integrated Marketing plan with business goal alignment across both Sales and Marketing leadership (10% of time)

  • Drive Marketing LT Governance across business groups and segments (10% of time)

  • Oversee all strategic Social Marketing initiatives for Subsidiary inclusive of Social Command Center management, paid social budget secured, and local employee social advocacy. (10% of time)

  • Oversee all end-to-end marketing and marketing communications planning, strategy, execution and optimization across all audiences leveraging the Center of Excellence and the Marketing Service Center (MSC) services; Use all global assets, infrastructure and policies and consume Modern Marketing University (MMU) readiness content; Lead with a One Microsoft approach, embrace Microsoft brand culture, and lead Microsoft brand stewardship for Area. (10% of time)

  • Support vertical sales through sales enablement, having team execute local events and developing local customer evidence. (10% of time)

  • Develop, attract and export top Modern Marketing talent worldwide; Modern Marketing Profile: think revenue outcome, embrace Buyer centricity, market across the Buyer Journey, drive volume into the Global Engagment Program nurture streams, and ongoing test/measure/learn mindset. (10% of time)

  • Minimum of 5+ years of Marketing management experience in technology. Experience in executing global marketing strategies, and developing breadth and depth integrated regional efforts that amplify/extend/scale the efforts through to sale.

  • Strong understanding of and appreciation for marketing automation concepts, marketing operations and integrated marketing, including strategic Social Marketing. Strong analytical capabilities to measure business performance and ability to quickly make smart data-driven, business tradeoffs.

  • Proven experience in dealing with strategic, complex issues and challenges in a highly-matrixed organization. Experience working at a large global multinational is a positive. • Exhibit high-degree of professional objectivity and awareness, executive maturity and presence, strong listening skills, world and life perspective and sense of humor.   • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) required; MBA degree preferred but not required.
